Resolved Question: Good Mechanics in Hawthorne,CA?

Just left Elite on Prairie and feel really ripped off but I know I can't buy another car for $100 (their net profit on my invoice) and it's not worth reporting beyond word of mouth. Phillips on El Segundo is worse. Every time I took my cars, they always found the problem was in the transmission (which the replacements were used and no good). Used to go to Baja on Inglewood Ave but without Eddie (the big guy) there, they are pretty much limited to tires and speak mostly Spanish.
